Shimano Crucial® Casting Rods
Bass and walleye anglers asked for light and responsive, yet powerful rods crafted with a diverse range of techniques in mind, and Shimano answered with this new series. Crucial® casting rods are ready for everything from drop-shotting and shaking, to throwing crankbaits. Expect amazing sensitivity thanks to a combination of high-modulus IM-9 graphite construction and streamlined Fuji® reel seats. Select casting models have an exposed-blank reel seat that puts your finger in direct contact with the blank for enhanced feel. All models are outfitted with Fuji Alconite® guides: some of the toughest and lightest available. In fact, this ceramic material has 80% greater compression strength and is 20% lighter than aluminum oxide. Crankbait rods have a sturdy backbone and a soft tip that allows the fish to inhale the bait before the hookset. Guides are wrapped with Gudebrod™ thread for extra strength. All rods have comfortable, shaped Grade-A cork handles. Limited lifetime warranty.
